Olivier played his midget hockey in Riviere-du-Loup where he was a teammate of another Screaming Eagles rookie, Nicolas Chouinard. He represented Team Quebec at this year’s World Under-17 Challenge in London, Ont. He recorded his first win in Saint John against the Sea Dogs on Sept.21. Olivier posted back-to-back shutouts on Oct.2 against Moncton and Oct.5 against Acadie-Bathurst. Despite being in his rookie season, Olivier loves the rivalry with Halifax especially playing at the Metro Centre. Playing tennis or gaming on an XBox occupy time away from the rink. Former Screaming Eagles goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and the Islanders Rick Dipietro are his hockey heroes. Although it’s tough to do during the season, Olivier would love to make a trip to Boston to watch his favorite NFL team the New England Patriots.
