Samuel comes from NHL bloodlines as his father Steve played 12 seasons with Quebec,Tampa Bay and Los Angeles. He was slowed by injuires early in his rookie season, but is now rounding into a solid tw0-way defenceman that the Screaming Eagles expected out of Crabtree in the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League. Sam had his first multiple point game in the “Q” on Feb. 9th against Drummondville. He lists L.A. Kings defenceman Rob Blake as his favourite NHL player. Sam is a big fan of the NFL’s New England Patriots. HIs dream vacation would be trip to the Dominican Republic.
