Michael was orginally selected in the 2nd round (29th overall) by Gatineau Olympiques. He played his midget hockey with LLL AAA Midget’s in Laval, Quebec. Inuries have slowed his production, but was a very good player for Gatineau in last year’s playoffs and Memorial Cup. He had 11 points in 19 playoff games and led Gatineau in scoring at the Memorial Cup with five points (2g-3a) in three games. He scored his first goal as a Screaming Eagle in Sept.14 against PEI. Michael has had eight multiple point games to this point in the season.
