Spencer is a hard-hitting 19 year-old native of Summerside, P.E.I in his second full season with the Screaming Eagles. He played his midget hockey in Charlottetown before a season a Junior ‘A’ in his hometown of Summerside led him to Cape Breton. Another player who has shown his versatility this season playing both defence and forward. It took awhile but Spencer scored his first “Q” league goal on January 5 of this year against Lewiston. As you might expect he gets most excited about playing against the P.E.I. Rocket. Maybe because he comes from an island his off-ice pursuits include Wake-Boarding or Kneeboarding. Spencer, like a few of his teammates, was disappointed that his favorite NFL team the New England Patriots failed to make history when they lost the Super Bowl to the New York Giants.
