Since his arrival from the Fredericton Canadiens Midget AAA hockey club this 20 year-old native of Edmunston, New Brunswick has been a fan favourite at Centre 200. The captain is closing in on Kevin Asselin as the all-time leading scorer in Screaming Eagles history. He scored his 100th QMJHL goal on February 9th against Drummondville. Ouellet credits his father for his hockey success and is another Screaming Eagle who scored his first goal in his first Major Junior game. During the off-season Dean enjoys golf and baseball and is a single digit handicap golfer. During his time here in Cape Breton he enjoys spending time at Kennington Cove, weather permitting of course.
