Haddad suspended two games
BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that forward Joey Haddad of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles has been suspended two games for a hit to the head, which occurred during last Sunday’s game versus the Moncton Wildcats.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
