Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles will hold their 16th Annual Award's Night Banquet on Monday, March 11th at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre.
A reception will take place at 6:30pm with the dinner and awards presentation beginning at 7:00pm.
The Screaming Eagles will hand out a total of eleven awards including: Regular Season Scoring Champion, Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Best Defenseman, Most Improved Player, Best Sportsmanship, Outstanding Academic and Athletic Achievement, Outstanding Community Involvement, Fans Choice, Jim Hawkins Memorial Bursary and the Greg Lynch Memorial Award.
The event is open to the general public and tickets can be purchased by contacting Lorna MacKinnon at the Screaming Eagles Business Office at 567-6378 ext 21. Tables of ten are available for $350 and individual tickets for $35. All tickets are subject to hst.
